The A.A.S. program prepares students to provide nursing care to individuals, families, groups, and communities. The program also provides a foundation for further study in nursing. Graduates of the A.A.S. program are prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) required for practice as a registered nurse.
